Aimee Raupp:

Hi, I'm back again. I just feel like I'm just sitting here on Instagram all day. Well, hello. Hello. This is a Hot Seat. I have to remind myself. You know what I just did? I told someone this morning that I could talk at 1:30 today, thinking today was Friday. I have too much screen time right now, guys. My brain is a little fried. So people are already requesting to join me live. You guys are fricking amazing. This is a Fertility Hot Seat. This is the last one of the week, and this is where you… Karen, how are you? I was thinking about you.

This is where you get to request to join me live and I give you a free 15 minute consult. And also when you request to join me live today and this whole week, the person I pick gets a promo code towards the Yes, You Can Get Pregnant E-Course. I believe it's a $100 off the E-course and E-course enrollment closes this evening. I have a lot of people rolling in. I'm really excited to see all of the newbies in the weekly Q and A next week. They happen every single Thursday, and as I just said on the last thing I was live on, you never get kicked out of that community. When you get pregnant, we move you into our new mama group, but you have access to the E-course, it's materials, any updates I make and at the… Look at my bra is showing. And the weekly Q and A is for as long as you are on this journey. You can come in every single week and ask questions and get support.

So the value of this E-course, I know $1,400 is a lot to spend, especially when you spend so much on fertility treatments. We do have a four pay option plan. We have a seven pay option plan, but I do want to remind you that the work I do saves women money across the board on supplements, on treatments, on additional therapies, on throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. I help you navigate what you need, what you don't need.

So without further ado, let's get into this Fertility Hot Seat for today, a free 15 minute consultation. And then after that I'm going to take a break from screens until my 7:00 PM Story of Hope, where there will be one more scholarship given away this evening, and then the cart closes at 11:59 PM Eastern Time tonight. We will not accept late enrollees. You do not have an opportunity to join this program again for a whole other year. So if you are thinking about it, do it. Okay. You join the basic, you go to aimeeraupp.com/basic. You want to do the seven pay option, aimeeraupp.com/7, the number seven, and the word, pay. $257 a month. Extended payment, there we go. My girl on my team, they're amazing. My team, let's give it up for my team. They are working their tails off.

Lots of questions. Lots of questions on the DMs and in the emails about this course and enrolling. And can it help me with this? Can I help me with this? What I will say, as I just said on the live, before the Q and A, this course is a foundational course. By that I mean we fix the foundational system. We fix the nervous system, we fix the gut, we fix the immune system, we fix the heart, we fix the soul. Not that you're broken, maybe fix isn't the right word. We rejuvenate the gut, the immune system, the nervous system, the heart, the soul. We bring you back to life. So no matter what you're dealing with, it will optimize your fertility and help you do this thing faster.

Fences are not a comfortable place to sit, people. If you're on the fence, this is your sign to join. Oh, Roxanne, you're not broken. Or I don't know if your name is Roxanne, but Roxiland. No, nobody's broken. I know. Emotionally, I hear you. Come, come be with us. Let me coddle you a little, okay? I love you, girl. I don't know you, but I love you. All right. I'm picking somebody. Love you. It is Roxanne. Well, I'm sending you love Roxanne.

Oh, hi.

Speaker 2:

Hello.

Aimee Raupp:

How are you?

Speaker 2:

Hello.

Aimee Raupp:

Oh, but good, I'm excited to have you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm so excited.

Aimee Raupp:

You know this is not medical advice, right? This is going to be based on my clinical experience. I just have to say that to cover my ass. Tell me what's going on. How can I help you?

Speaker 2:

Yes. Okay. So I'm 42. I'll be 43 on Sunday.

Aimee Raupp:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

My husband is 29.

Aimee Raupp:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So we do have a little bit of luck with that. We have had three losses. My first pregnancy, I first got pregnant in November of last year and I've had two early losses at eight weeks and one chemical.

Aimee Raupp:

So two losses at eight weeks and what else?

Speaker 2:

So it's been a bit of a rollercoaster with that.

Aimee Raupp:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

One chemical loss.

Aimee Raupp:

Eight weeks, chemical. Did we test in the eight week loss?

Speaker 2:

No, there's been no testing. I have had a repeated loss panel done and an SHG.

Aimee Raupp:

Oh, saline sonogram, sorry.

Speaker 2:

Saline hysterography.

Aimee Raupp:

And you're getting pregnant pretty quickly and easily, naturally?

Speaker 2:

Yes. All naturally.

Aimee Raupp:

And is anything going on with your health? How's your health in general? Thyroid been checked? [inaudible 00:05:55]

Speaker 2:

Thyroid's been checked. Last year I was at 1.83. I just had a full panel then and my TSH was sitting at 2.5 so not great. My thyroid antibodies were at 12 and my other ones were below 90.

Aimee Raupp:

They're a little up but not a lot. And then what about vitamin D?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Aimee Raupp:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

I've had that tested. I'm at 89.

Aimee Raupp:

And then any eczema, digestive issues, joint pain, headaches.

Speaker 2:

So I have a lot of inflammation. I've been doing a lot of stress eating since this last miscarriage. So we are starting an elimination diet. My husband and I, actually just on Monday. But I do have, both he and I have gut issues swinging between diarrhea and constipation, unfortunately. And I have a bit of psoriasis.

Aimee Raupp:

And then what about your periods? Are they painful or heavy or cloggy?

Speaker 2:

So since my miscarriage, this last one, they've been coming every 23 days. And the first two were barely there. So scanty, I just had another period and I was so happy. It was 23 days, not great, but it was barely any cramps. It was good flow for four days. So I felt a little bit of relief that they're starting to come back a little bit.

Aimee Raupp:

[inaudible 00:07:38].

Speaker 2:

I'm not exactly sure. My cervical mucus hasn't been great the last couple cycles. And I just started [inaudible 00:07:49].

Aimee Raupp:

And then what elimination diet do you plan to do?

Speaker 2:

So we've removed gluten and dairy. I'm still eating eggs. I don't seem to have a huge trouble with that.

Aimee Raupp:

If you don't have my book, the Egg Quality Diet, that's an elimination diet and it's great for men and women and it really triggers any autoimmune inflammatory reaction that could be going on. And if your husband, I mean I'm sure you'd probably be fine with the title, but you could also get my book Body Belief, which is also another elimination diet. But the big things that you want to think about removing gluten, dairy, soy, make sure you avoid soy as well. Limit your sugar for less than 10 to 15 grams of added sugar a day. I think eggs are fine. Most people react to egg whites, not egg yolks. Nightshades and beets can be huge sugars for a lot of people, especially with psoriasis and GI issues. So in my elimination diet, we remove all of that, egg yolks and egg whites, but you could probably play around with that and [inaudible 00:08:58].

And there's like 11 days in phase two where it's a lot of raw which is really healing to the gut. And then you're going to move into phase three where you have a wider variety of protein and vegetables. Don't go too low on protein is what I would say though. That's not good for fertility. You really want good quality protein. It's just like the building blocks to everything. And we want cholesterol rich foods. So foods with good quality fats basically, to help with hormone synthesis for male and female is really important. But what I do see with most people is they're not eating enough vegetables and they do eat a good amount of protein. So the veggies should be up to six to eight servings, try to go organic to really reduce the inflammation. And another thing I would really incorporate is baby aspirin once you ovulate when you try, and stay on that through the first trimester.

I would also go higher dose on your fish oil. If you're taking fish oil already, I would go up to three grams a day. I'm writing this down, so if you want to DM me after this and then I can send it back to you. I would also consider the digestive, it's an enzyme, they're called proteolytic enzymes, it's called Wobenzym. It's really helpful for reducing inflammation. But there is studies too to show it helps with women with recurrent pregnancy loss. If you take it through the first trimester, it helps prevent that loss. And I think just because it's such a powerful enzyme inflammatory. So I would do those three things. And the RP, the recurrent pregnancy loss panel showed nothing. No clogging factors whatsoever?

Speaker 2:

No clogging factors. I have low AMH. My FSH is a little bit, I think at 12.9. My LH was at 13, but I actually had got pregnant that cycle that resulted in the resulted in the…

Aimee Raupp:

And did you have a DNC or did you miscarry naturally?

Speaker 2:

I miscarried naturally, but my first miscarriage, I ended up having to have two DNCs. And so I was concerned about scarring just because my periods were so light. But they said that there wasn't any scarring. I do have a little bit of adenomyosis.

Aimee Raupp:

Yeah, okay. So that could be it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but the IVF clinic said that there was nothing that would stop me from getting pregnant.

Aimee Raupp:

Yeah, but that might impact the miscarriage. Adenomyosis can impact implantation, but it's also a sign of some accumulation and growth in there. The dietary changes could help a lot. I would do castor oil packs regularly too, and I have video and blog and all that. Just follow the instructions. Once you can be pregnant, you stop doing them. But you can do them all for the follicular phase. I would ask for an endometrial biopsy, not just a saline sono, ask them to go in and do an endometrial biopsy to test for, it's called endometritis, not endometriosis.

And you could also consider, there's a test called the Alice and Emma, which check for the uterine microbiome. But then it also looks at uterine receptivity. Or you can just do the endometrial biopsy. One of those two though. But I would just rule out that any of those miscarriages didn't cause the microbiome to get off. And you don't have a low line infection in your uteris, which is then is causing more losses. And it's a fairly easy fix if you have it. You take antibiotics for two weeks and then I think the essential fatty acids are just really important. And a good probiotic to really help heal the microbiome. But if you're going to go do the elimination diet, that's your focus, is healing the gut. That's how I would look at it. And if this feels good in your heart, I would also not try for at least two months. You know what I mean?

And I would just focus on the diet and healing, knowing in your heart, because I can say this primarily as a clinical experience, you don't have to fully believe me but I can speak from experience, that your life quality will get better, not worse, even in those two months. And so even if you're getting two months older and you'll be 43 and two months, you're going to be okay to take that time off. And it might just feel freeing for you too, to just be like, okay, I want to just focus on me and healing and grieving and processing, and then I'm going to move forward and do this.:

And just almost like, it'll be great for you guys to do it together. It'll be full alignment. And obviously there's a purpose here, but just feeling good and then creating life from that space, I think would feel safer to you. But I would definitely do the fish oil. I would definitely do the baby aspirin, the Wobenzym, obviously make sure you're on a good prenatal. [inaudible 00:13:49] sounds good and healthy so you don't have to add that in. Liver pills. I'm a huge fan of liver just from the antioxidant perspective. All this is obviously in my book and on my site.

And what I would say is, there's two ways to approach it too. I would definitely push for the endo biopsy and get those results and then start trying, kind of thing. If you were to have another loss or say the biopsy comes back and there's nothing, you could look into the Pregnune testing, it's P-R-E-G-N-U-N-E.com. It is a lot of blood, 36 vials or something like that. It's not super costly. I mean it's 900 bucks to get the kit. And then insurance covers most of the testing. It's just a lot of blood, but you get a report that's basically breaks down if there's any autoimmune stuff going on and how to treat it. But a lot of times, because a lot of doctors now are pretty privy to it and will follow it. The doctor who runs it himself [inaudible 00:14:57]

Speaker 2:

I really think that too. Oh no, I can hear it okay. Can you hear me? Oh yeah, that is strange. Yeah, I've heard you the whole time. This is because you're trying to launch something, so everything has to go a little wish-washy.

I guess my big problem is I get obsessive on the whole thing. So when my TSH came back at 2.6, I'm like oh God, here we go. Another thing to fix. I'm having trouble seeing the big picture. Yeah. Okay. And would you say to get medicated for that before I get pregnant? Okay. Yeah. And [inaudible 00:17:16] everyone kind of focuses on me. Do you think that he needs to have his health… They didn't even look at him basically when we went to the IVF. Yeah. Yeah.

Okay. Yeah, and that'll be a bit of a reframe for me because I've been a bit obsessive about it for the last year. Feels different to be like, oh, let's take a break. Okay. Yeah. No, that was pretty much everything. I was so psyched to be picked. I was like, oh my god. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Awesome. Thank you so much. Okay.
