J&J Removes Cancer Causing Agent From Baby Shampoo

Now, this is something to celebrate:

Johnson & Johnson's Responds to Pressure and Agrees to Remove Cancer-Causing Chemicals from Baby Shampoo

Back in 2009, the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics released it's “No More Toxic Tub” report, documenting the widespread contamination of baby and children's products with cancer causing agents (aka carcinogens). In their testing they found that 67% of the products tested contained carcinogens. And, J&J's popular No More Tears baby shampoo was one of them!

After pressure from the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and several consumer petitions, Johnson & Johnson released a statement saying that they are phasing out formaldehyde-releasing ingredients worldwide!

Way to go Campaign for Safe Cosmetics!!!
