A few drinks per day cuts dimentia risk?!

Yet, another conflicting report has just come down the wire. Researchers at Wake Forest University conducted a study on 3000 elderly people (over the age of 75) and they found that those who drank between 8 and 14 alcoholic drinks a week had a 37% lower risk of the disease than the general population. However, people who consumed more than 14 drinks a week were at twice the normal risk of developing dementia.

Hmmmm….what to think?

People, in my (humble) opinion, the big takeaway here is: drink alcohol in moderation.
Live your life in moderation. Too much of anything isn't a good thing.
