Aimee:

Hello, everyone. How are you? I am psyched to be here. Dr. Merhi and I have a very big surprise announcement to make. And we're excited to share the news with you. We're actually in the same office right now, but we want to both go live on our separate phones without an echo. Let's see. Close that door. Thank you. Let's let him request to join. Okay. Here you are. I'm going to bring on Mr. Merhi. Hit the “Request to Join” button. There he is. Okay. And then we're going to have Jaelin from his team actually asks some questions of us.

Dr. Merhi:

Hi, stranger? All right. I should call you my partner after this.

Aimee:

I know. Partner. How are you, partner?

Dr. Merhi:

Very well.

Aimee:

Okay. Hi. We are excited. So many people are coming on. They want to hear all about this. We posted on our page that we had an exciting announcement. So why don't you make the announcement?

Dr. Merhi:

Sure. So as I mentioned, actually, multiple times in the last few months on my interviews and everything like that is that during the pandemic, everyone has been using sanitizers. And what alarmed me is one of the magazines interviewed me about what hand sanitizers do to reproduction because there is some studies that linked sanitizers, because when you use it, gets absorbed in your body, goes into the ovaries and the sperm and could have significant negative potential on female and male reproduction. And also, one thing that struck me is if you take this is hand sanitizer, there is active ingredient, which is the alcohol, which is fine.

Dr. Merhi:

But if you look at the inactive ingredients, the last row, anyone who has a sanitizer box, please look at the inactive ingredients. And you going to see a lot of things that could potentially harm the reproductive system. So what we did is Aimee and I, we teamed up a couple of months ago and we kept brainstorming. And we looked, we went through every single chemical in the world that could be placed that's healthy, of course, with killing the germs, 99% that is safe for fertility, without any inactive ingredient. So in our own sanitizers and it's called Rejoova. Rejoova is for both men and women. This is like a cute sanitizer. I think it's cute egg with a sperm.

Aimee:

I love the egg with the sperm.

Dr. Merhi:

And also the chemicals, if you look at the chemicals in the back, you see that all of them are natural. Now, you see it's liquidy. The reason why it's more liquidy than the regular one, which is gel, because in order to make it a gel, you have to add this potentially toxic material, unfortunately. So the consistency might vary. However, it has same efficacy. It smells great because Aimee is the expert of smells and it feels very nice. But really I'm so excited because looking at a lot of sanitizers, I think this is probably the first that really is done by the Western and Eastern mentality that came together to come with this product. So I'm really excited about this product. And so that's what we have. Now, we are launching it both. Now, Aimee can talk more about it, but we also have Jaelin here. She's from RFC and she has some questions from couple of staff that we interviewed. They wanted to know these answers. So would you like Aimee, anything to say before we take questions?

Aimee:

I just want to add that many of you might know that I've had my own skincare line for quite some time. And so I have this area of expertise of really trying to create formulations that are non-toxic and very supportive to reproduction and fertility because of the toxins that are in the environment. So it was the perfect synergy that you and I have a beautiful working relationship from a patient-client perspective, but to go and do this together because he was so passionate, when he realized of chemicals in the sanitizer and just that they were implicated in reproductive issues, it was so important to you. And I was like, “I can help with this. Let's do this.” And just bringing it together and the ingredients are so simple. So it stands in line with always my approach of “clean enough to eat.” I wouldn't necessarily eat this because of the high alcohol content [crosstalk 00:05:25].

Dr. Merhi:

Oh, I did already. I drank one already.

Aimee:

You give [inaudible 00:05:28] shot, I suppose you wanted to. But it's just 99% isopropyl alcohol, Aloe vera, essential oil of lemon, tea, tree, lavender and that's it. And it works and it's 70% alcohol. So it does have that strong alcohol smell. You know you're getting clean and it's in these cute little, I love these little bottles. The whole thing, it was super fun to create [crosstalk 00:05:58]. For your kids, of course. You want to think about no one. We don't want anyone exposed to these toxins, especially us trying to make babies, but someone just said, “I'd love to use for my kids.”

Dr. Merhi:

But also the bottoms are free from BPA. By the way, any plastic that we have that we drink has BPA, if you go and see about the studies on BPA and reproduction, it's really compelling. And look, the reality, Aimee, I always tell patients is that we used to have one in 12 couples in the United States 10 years ago have infertility. And then it dropped to one in eight couples. And I can tell you, experts expect one in five couples to struggle with infertility in the next couple of years. So there is some genetics, but I can tell you the environment it's extremely important. What we eat, the stuff that we put in the frozen food, the plastic, cell phones, a lot of other things including sanitizers.

Dr. Merhi:

Because look, there is tons of study that will come up and I can tell you, I spoke to a lot of colleagues who were saying that they had worse outcome or they're seeing drop in the outcome during the pandemic. Yes. Granted, stress is an important role, but very hard to tease out what exactly caused this lower pregnancy rates, lower implantation rates. Again, I don't have the evidence yet, but there's a lot of theories that the hand sanitizer in combination with the stress of the pandemic could impact pregnancy rates. So we're very excited. I'm really very excited.

Aimee:

And even though we know things are changing around COVID now, which is exciting, but we still need to be super safe. And the sanitizers are a really important piece to that. And even wiping down our phones, our doorknobs, all of this things, I just feel like these are so great and easy. Throw one in your purse, one at the office, one in the kids' school bag, ready to go. [inaudible 00:08:07] into the questions.

Dr. Merhi:

So Jaelin, you want to ask questions?

Jaelin:

Of course. A lot of the people here want to why you created the sanitizer, in more detail.

Dr. Merhi:

So I think we just answered this question as to why we created this sanitizer, just because I think COVID is here to stay. Everyone is using sanitizers. It's important for us to choose if we care about our reproduction system, we really have to care about a lot of the things, diet, exercise, but also sanitizer as well, which is becoming, I think part of everyone's daily life. I go everywhere with sanitizers. But I don't want to have anymore kids. So I can use anything.

Aimee:

No, but you couldn't because these toxins are correlated with other scary things too, not just reproductive issues. So I think that's also the bigger picture that I know in women when they're trying to conceive and men, couples, they want to do anything and everything they can to amplify their chances. And so going non-toxic is typically a recommendation, but to really think about this is longer term, not just for the future of your fertility, but your children's fertility, the future of dare I say, the planet and its health. And these toxins, there's a lot of implications for them beyond reproductive issues. So to us is something that I think really merges the two of our expertise and then also, our love for… One of the things I love the most about Dr. Merhi and his approach is that…

Dr. Merhi:

That I'm very handsome.

Aimee:

Very handsome. And also [inaudible 00:09:55]. Go home with a gorgeous view. Less is more approach, where he tries to be as holistic and as natural as he can be, and really you see the benefit in that. And I've always really appreciated that. And you really take in the whole picture. You're always hopeful and optimistic, but just also that you're seeing all the playing parts, you see the supplements, you see the diet, and now, you're seeing the toxins. And I think it's a beautiful offering for all of our clients.

Dr. Merhi:

Very exciting. Jaelin, what's the next question?

Jaelin:

Who is the sanitizer for? Is it for everyone? Of all age groups?

Dr. Merhi:

Great question. Is this sanitizer for everyone? Is it any age group?

Aimee:

Everyone. I have this, my little guy in his backpack. Someone said great for my kids. It's great for your kids. It's great for your parents. It's great for your cousins, your friends, even people who aren't trying to conceive because it's an effective sanitizer that is non-toxic. So who wouldn't want that? We don't want the other brands that we know contain a lot of toxic chemicals, so we might be killing bacteria, but then we're hurting ourselves in other ways. Okay. Someone just asked… Go ahead. But somebody asked, how much is the bottle? So Jaelin, do you mind if I jump to that real fast?

Aimee:

Right now, they're $4.99 cents each for two ounces. And this will last you quite like that's several applications. Probably a hundred applications. And right now in March, we're having free shipping and you can order up to five to 10 bottles if you want at a time and free shipping right now through the month of March. We don't have a bulk discount thing right now, but we should actually do that. So I think [crosstalk 00:11:45].

Dr. Merhi:

I want to give some free samples also to our patients just to try. So I will be putting them in all the offices as a gift, just to let us know what you think and any feedback. We're happy to tweak on the formula [inaudible 00:12:02].

Aimee:

To the website to buy it because people are asking is get getrejoovasanitizer.com. So G-E-T, Rejoova, R-E-J-O-O-V-A, sanitizer.com. getrejoovasanitizer.com. And you will see on there that through the month of March, free shipping. And then at some point I think that's a great point is I'll make a note too, for our team to bulk discounts. I think for if you order 20 or more, we'll give you maybe another 10% off, but these are great. And that's my vision is that people [inaudible 00:12:39]. And just be everywhere in your purse, in the car, in the kids' backpack, at the office. I always have sanitizer in my guest bathroom too because I just think it's nice if people come over. Okay. We can go back to the question. Sorry.

Dr. Merhi:

Great. Next question.

Jaelin:

The name of the product is super interesting. How did you come up with that name?

Dr. Merhi:

I don't remember.

Jaelin:

Well, at Rejuvenating Fertility Center, I wanted to be something similar to that. And then Aimee likes the [inaudible 00:13:15] , which is add, because she's obsessed with that quality. So Rejoova, we cannot combine that. That's a question.

Aimee:

And I don't remember because it's months since we came up with the name.

Dr. Merhi:

I forget anything.

Jaelin:

What's in the sanitizer? What makes it special? [inaudible 00:13:39]?

Aimee:

The alcohol content. So in order for a hand sanitizer to actually work, it needs to be 70% alcohol. And so this is exactly that, it's exactly 70% alcohol and it has Aloe vera and then the essential oils, which give it a nice scent. And the Aloe vera is nice too, because it actually moisturizes because alcohol, I don't know about you guys, it is so drying. So I really prefer the sanitizers that have some moisturizing in them. And Dr. Merhi, believe me, I had eight different variations of this product.

Dr. Merhi:

We went back and forth a lot.

Aimee:

[crosstalk 00:14:16] every single one of them. Because he wanted it to be very not super feminine, which I really appreciate, so a male perspective. And I had some with some oils. He didn't like it. He loves this one with the Aloe vera, which I really like it too. And it's just nice. And the essential oils that we chose are all because they're antibacterial, antimicrobial. So we know we're coming at it, not just with alcohol, but we're coming at it from the essential oil of lemon, tea, tree, and lavender as well.

Dr. Merhi:

Okay. Next question.

Jaelin:

Where can we buy it? Where's the link?

Dr. Merhi:

She's the businesswoman.

Aimee:

getrejoovasanitizer.com. I'm going to post it and pin it. The next question was about there's a shelf life question I really want to get to that in just a second. Let me just do this. getrejoovasanitizer.com. It's all one word. For some reason, it's spacing it and I'm going to pin it. I'm going to pin this comment. And so I want to stock up. Is this a shorter shelf life due to the short list of ingredients? No. And it will not lose its efficacy because how things lose their efficacy is if they're in clear bottles and sunlight or heat impact them. That's why we went with white bottles. These are again, like Merhi said, it is plastic, but it's BPA-free plastic. And because it's just alcohol, Aloe vera, and essential oils, the potency will remain. The alcohol is the main ingredient and that will not be the potency. So absolutely not. You should be able to keep this on shelf for months and months and months, years.

Dr. Merhi:

Bigger size too. We're doing bigger size.

Aimee:

Well, stop. We're not right now.

Dr. Merhi:

Come on. You're too slow.

Aimee:

We have a bigger size. We [inaudible 00:16:13]. See, him and I have our [inaudible 00:16:14]. I'm kidding.

Dr. Merhi:

You're so funny.

Aimee:

Why does an 80% alcohol work? Hopefully all the nurses know the answer as well. And I don't even know if I know the answer, but it doesn't last as long on the skin. It evaporates too fast. So the 99% apparently stays the longest. Okay. Go ahead.

Dr. Merhi:

Any other questions, Jae? I think these are the questions that we have. So it's exciting. Do you have any other questions there, Aimee?

Aimee:

Let's see. I don't. So again, you go to getrejoovasanitizer.com. They are $4.99 each, free shipping right now through the month of March. We will get back to you with bulk order discounts, all RFC clients. Dr. Merhi's going to have these in the office in the coming week. And then we're just going to give out free samples.

Dr. Merhi:

I wish I can give for everyone, but I get free samples, put them on tables.

Aimee:

We have a bunch, obviously. We're all stocked up. And we're ready to go with it. So give it a try. We made the price point, I think extremely affordable because we just wanted to be accessible to everybody. And like I said, I think it's smart to order more than one bottle, personally.

Dr. Merhi:

Got it. Okay. Great. Well, thank you [crosstalk 00:17:45]. Thank you so much, Aimee. Thank you Aimee for all the hard.

Aimee:

Oh, please. Thank you for all your support always. Okay, guys. Go check it out. Enjoy. It's lovely. We love it. We're proud of it. And we made it just for you guys. So yay. Happy day.

Dr. Merhi:

Have a great day.
