This month, I am sharing the story of a woman in the Yes, You Can Get Pregnant community who is still on the journey to pregnancy. Her name is Jill, and she is 42. She has experienced loss and heartbreak, but she has not given up hope.  Here is her story:

After a full year of #TTC naturally, three failed IVF cycles and just before starting my fourth IVF cycle, I got pregnant naturally at the age of 42! This pregnancy happened NATURALLY on a vacation we took to Europe.  Unfortunately, I did just miscarry the pregnancy, but the hope I now have in conceiving again is like nothing before.  

Considering we tried for almost two years and never once had a pregnancy, not even a chemical pregnancy, the fact that I now, at the age of 42, can get pregnant naturally is a true miracle. I know this pregnancy had so much to do with following Aimee’s Yes, You Can Get Pregnant protocol for the past four months. Although the miscarriage is heartbreaking, the renewed sense of faith I have in my body and its ability to conceive is miraculous in and of itself.

I am continuing on your protocol (and the Chinese herbs) with the knowing in my heart that my baby is coming to me soon. I think my body just needs more time on your protocol.  I know that I still have a long road ahead of me before I’m holding my baby, but I’m definitely more hopeful than ever before.
