on emotional and psychological disorders, reproductive health
and gynecology as well as gastrointestinal disorders and facial
rejuvenation acupuncture.
Aimee has a diverse academic background. After receiving her
Bachelor’s degree in biology at Rutgers University, she
went on to work as a research scientist and take graduate level
classes in neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego.
Feeling ethically and morally challenged by the western medical
field and intrigued by alternative medicine, Aimee quickly changed
course and pursued higher education in the field of Traditional
Oriental Medicine.
Aimee received her Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental
Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San
Diego, California. While completing this 4-year Masters of Science
degree, Aimee had the opportunity to intern with seasoned acupuncturists
and herbalists. This combination of academics and hands on learning
has given Aimee a thorough understanding of both Acupuncture and
Chinese Herbology.
As a result of Aimee’s intense training, she has a vast
understanding of the functional aspects of the human being and
the imbalances created by disease.
Aimee has received special training in fertility enhancement
acupuncture and acupuncture facial rejuvenation. Aimee's first book, Chill Out And
Get Healthy! was published in Summer 2009 by Penguin Group.
Aimee is currently in private practice in both Manhattan and
Nyack, NY.
